Mike obtained a B.A. in Acting from San Diego State University.  He is a current member of the Black Nexxus Acting Studio in Los Angeles, headed by well-known coach of the stars, Susan Batson.  He has studied everything from the techniques and methods of Sanford Meisner, Lee Strasberg, Uta Hagen, Stella Adler, and Constantin Stanislavski to various on-camera, scene study, and cold-reading classes.

He was once a member of the Anita Jesse Masterclass Studio in Los Angeles.  Anita Jesse is the acclaimed author of the books, Let the Part Play You and The Playing is the Thing.

Mike has also studied improvisation and sketch comedy with the legendary improv group, “The Groundlings”.
